The family thought this would be a great idea for our grandparents. It has worked out great. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this app for anyone who has elderly parents.

iLOCi2 is a great application that has allowed me to make a new connection with my son. He is growing up in this era of new technology and I’m a bit behind but this easy to use application has made him think I’m becomming "cool". We are having a lot of fun with it. He’ll send me a location request while I’m in traffic on the way home from work and I simply press one button on my iPhone screen to send him my location. Then he knows exactly where I am and plans accordingly….A couple of times he has been standing in the driveway with with our baseball mits ready when I drove up. Very Cool!
He doesn’t care that I periodically send him a location request when he is with his friends. He likes that much better than me calling or texting him. It is a lot easier for him to just quickly press the button on his iPhone screen to send me his location than for him to type it in or answer my call. And iLOCi2 is much more accurate (and eliminates his ability to fib about where he is).
My Moms’ Wish

I’m older now, but when I told my mom about this app, she said she so WISHED she had something like this when I was growing up. She was always texting me when I was out asking where I was and when I’d be home. (Well, making sure I’d be home by curfew, really. 
Even though I’m older now and she doesn’t need to constantly know where I am, it’s still fun to use! Mom lives in Washington and I live in LA. We LOCi each other whenever and she still gets to see where I go in my daily life even though she’s not in the same city!
And I get to LOCi her while she travels up and down the west coast! (She’s a flight attendant.) It’s pretty awesome. We get to literally see where each other are instead of constantly updating our status’s on Twitter or Facebook and WE only get to see it. Not everybody.
I LOVE THIS APP!
